Account Settings

Manage your account settings, preferences, and security

Overview

Account Settings let you manage your personal information, notification preferences, and security settings. Access settings from the gear icon in the navigation or your profile menu.

Profile Settings

Personal Information

Update your basic profile information:

  • First name: Your first name displayed across the platform
  • Last name: Your last name displayed across the platform
  • Email address: Primary email for account and notifications (contact support to change)

Profile Picture

Upload a profile picture that appears next to your name and in team views. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP. Maximum size: 5MB.

Notification Settings

Email Notifications

Control which emails you receive:

  • Alert emails: Visibility changes and alerts
  • Report emails: Scheduled report delivery
  • Product updates: New features and improvements
  • Tips & guides: Educational content
  • Billing emails: Invoices and payment notifications

Alert Preferences

Configure how you receive alerts:

  • Frequency: Real-time, daily digest, or weekly summary
  • Threshold: Minimum change to trigger notification
  • Quiet hours: Don't send alerts during specific times

Security Settings

Password

Change your password:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Find the Security section
  3. Enter your current password
  4. Enter new password (must meet requirements below)
  5. Confirm new password
  6. Click "Update Password"

Password Requirements

Your password must meet these requirements:

  • At least 10 characters
  • At least 1 uppercase letter
  • At least 1 digit
  • At least 1 special character

Preferences

Timezone

Set your timezone for accurate report scheduling and data display:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Find the Preferences section
  3. Select your timezone from the dropdown
  4. Changes save automatically

Dates and times throughout MeasureLLM will be displayed in your selected timezone.

Account Management

Delete Account

Permanently delete your account and all data:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Find the Danger Zone section
  3. Click "Delete Account"
  4. Enter your password
  5. Type your email address to confirm
  6. Click "Delete My Account"

Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, including projects, keywords, visibility history, and team settings will be permanently deleted.

Workspace Management

If you are the owner of a workspace, you have additional options:

  • Transfer Ownership: Transfer workspace ownership to another team member
  • Delete Workspace: Permanently delete the workspace and all its data

Tip: Use a strong, unique password to keep your account secure. Consider using a password manager to generate and store complex passwords.
