Setting Up Alerts
Configure notifications for visibility changes, competitor movements, and important events
Why Use Alerts?
AI visibility can change quickly as platforms update their models and training data. Alerts help you stay informed about important changes without constantly checking your dashboard, allowing you to respond quickly to both opportunities and threats.
Stay Proactive, Not Reactive
With alerts configured, you'll know about visibility changes within minutes, not days. This early warning system helps you maintain your competitive advantage.

Configuring Alerts
Step 1: Access Alert Settings
- Go to your project settings or click "Alerts" in the sidebar
- Click "Configure Alerts" or the settings icon
Step 2: Choose Alert Types
Enable the types of alerts you want to receive. Start with the most critical ones and expand as needed.
Step 3: Set Thresholds
Configure when alerts should trigger to avoid alert fatigue:
- Score change thresholdMinimum percentage change to trigger (e.g., 10%, 15%, 20%)
- Comparison periodCompare to previous day, week, or custom period
- Alert frequencyReal-time, daily digest, or weekly summary
Step 4: Select Keywords
Choose which keywords should trigger alerts:
- All keywords: Monitor everything (may generate more alerts)
- Priority keywords only: Focus on your most important terms
- Custom selection: Pick specific keywords manually
Alert Frequency Recommendations
Pro Tip: Avoid Alert Fatigue
Start with daily digests and a 15% threshold. Once you've tuned your alerts and identified which keywords are most critical, switch to real-time alerts for those specific terms while keeping digests for the rest.
Webhook Integration (Pro & Premium)
Send alerts to external systems for advanced workflows and team integrations:
- Slack: Post alerts to dedicated channels
- Microsoft Teams: Integrate with your team workspace
- Discord: Send to server channels
- Zapier/Make: Connect to 5000+ apps
- Custom endpoints: Your own API for custom processing
Webhooks send a JSON payload with complete alert details including the keyword, platform, score change, and timestamp.
