Setting Up Competitors

Adding Competitors

  1. Go to Project Settings
  2. Click "Competitors" tab
  3. Click "Add Competitor"
  4. Enter competitor brand name
  5. Optionally add alternate names/variations
  6. Save

Configuring Alerts

  1. Go to Project Settings → Alerts
  2. Enable "Competitor Alerts"
  3. Choose which competitors to monitor
  4. Set sensitivity threshold
  5. Choose notification method

Best Practices

  1. Choose relevant competitors: Track direct competitors, not just big names
  2. Include emerging competitors: Watch for new players gaining visibility
  3. Review regularly: Competitive landscape changes over time
  4. Focus on gaps: Prioritize keywords where competitors beat you
  5. Learn from leaders: Analyze why top competitors perform well

Tip:Don't just track your biggest competitors. Sometimes smaller players or new entrants can quickly gain AI visibility and become significant threats.
